This time I will talk about my experience in my blog. Since I went to school, the only thing that I learned in English were words and recognize them in a text, but never write something by myself and create something that has coherence and cohesion. I think that a part of learning to communicate in this language is that we be able to create something from our own experiences.
I have never used “Blogger”, it is a very complete and easy editing platform. I can use a lot of tools and colors, making it a great way to communicate without losing the formality of a class.
I think that through this experience I could change my writing skills. Thanks to this activity, gradually I could collect my thoughts and relate what I have learned in class. On the other hand, I could use new forms of expression that allowed enrich my vocabulary.
Since my point of view, my weakest point is not English writing. The idea of blogs is excellent for forms of written communication skills, but only limited to that. What I mean is that we should further strengthen activities on “listening” and “speaking” in English, as expressed using these forms is more complex. Perhaps this could be supplemented with more activities "lisening" without being evaluated.
I do also think that we should strenght the listening and speaking experience so we could make that part better.
ResponderEliminarHi Cris!
ResponderEliminarI also liked this activity! I learned to draft texts in english (not perfectly, but I have much improved), which I didn´t learn in my school: in this place I memorize a lot of words that then I forgot their.
Regards!
Hi Cris! I did not know how used blogger, but we started with these blogs, I learned. I agree with you, it takes more "listening", if not evaluated this test would be great. Greetings!! :D
ResponderEliminarCristopher!
ResponderEliminarIt's really good that you recognised a lot of benefits of blogging in English! Writing posts was a great experience! Many classmates grew a lot!
I also think that we need more activities about listening and speaking in English. I hope we will practice that more frequently in the future!
Kind regards!
Hi Cristopher!!
ResponderEliminarI agree with you because I thik that my weakest point is not in English writing and grammar skills if not listening, as I would like you to include activities that will help me improve my listening skills!!!
King regards
